حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، (١) أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ نَاسٍ قَالَ: " أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ، وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would break his fast at someone's place, he would say: "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels of mercy have descended upon you."
