Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Tonight a child has been born to me, and I have named him after my ancestor, Ibrahim (peace be upon him)." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) entrusted Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) to the wife of a blacksmith of Madinah, whose name was Abu Saif, for nursing. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to go there to visit the child. I also went with the Prophet (ﷺ). When we arrived, Abu Saif was blowing the bellows of the furnace and the whole house was filled with smoke. I walked quickly ahead of the Prophet (ﷺ) and reached Abu Saif and said to him, "Abu Saif! The Prophet (ﷺ) has arrived." So he stopped.
