حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ: أَخْبَرَنَا قَالَ:، ، قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَفْتِحُ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِ {بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ} [الفاتحة: ١] أَوْ بِ {الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ} [الفاتحة: ٢] ؟ فَقَالَ: " إِنَّكَ لَتَسْأَلُنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Saeed bin Yazid, may Allah have mercy on him, says that I asked Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, whether the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to begin the recitation with "Bismillah" or with "Alhamdulillah"? He replied, "You have asked me a question about which no one has asked me before."
