Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَنَسٌ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا، وَإِنَّ أَمِينَنَا أَيَّتُهَا الْأُمَّةُ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Every nation has a trustworthy one, and Abu Ubaidah is the trustworthy one of this nation."
