English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Ali (may Allah honor his face) returned from Yemen, the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "With what intention did you enter into Ihram?" He replied, "I entered into Ihram with the same intention as the Prophet (ﷺ)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If I had not brought the sacrificial animal with me, I would have come out of the state of Ihram."
