حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: " كُنْتُ قَائِمًا عَلَى الْحَيِّ أَسْقِيهِمْ مِنْ فَضِيخِ تَمْرٍ، قَالَ: فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْخَمْرَ قَدْ حُرِّمَتْ ". قَالُوا: أَكْفِئْهَا يَا أَنَسُ، فَأَكْفَأْتُهَا، قُلْتُ: مَا كَانَ شَرَابُهُمْ؟ قَالَ: " الْبُسْرُ وَالرُّطَبُ "، وقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَنَسٍ: " كَانَتْ خَمْرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ "، وَأَنَسٌ يَسْمَعُ فَلَمْ يُنْكِرْهُ، وقَالَ بَعْضُ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَنَا، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: " كَانَتْ خَمْرَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I was standing and serving people with Fasiqh (a type of drink), when a person came and said that alcohol has been declared forbidden. They said, "Anas! Pour out all the alcohol that is in your vessel." The narrator investigated about the drink from him, so he replied that it was only Nabidh made by mixing fresh and dried dates.
