Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ عَاصِمَ ابْنَ بَهْدَلَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ زِرًّا، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ: " شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى آبَتِ الشَّمْسُ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ وَبُطُونَهُمْ نَارًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he said on the day of Uhud:
“They distracted us from the middle prayer until the sunset. May Allah fill their graves, houses and stomachs with fire.”
