حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ الضُّبَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: وَهُوَ يُنَاوِلُ (١) أَصْحَابَهُ وَهُمْ يَبْنُونَ الْمَسْجِدَ: " أَلَا إِنَّ الْعَيْشَ عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ، فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the construction of the Prophet's Mosque, the Prophet (ﷺ) was handing bricks to his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and kept saying: "The real life is the life of the Hereafter. O Allah! Forgive the Ansar and the Muhajireen."
