Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِقَتَادَةَ: أَسَمِعْتَ أَنَسًا يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: الْبُصَاقُ، ، فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، وَكَفَّارَتُهُ دَفْنُهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Spitting in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is to bury it.
