Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) gathered the Ansari companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and asked them, "Is there anyone among you who is not from the Ansar?" They replied, "No, except that we have a nephew." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A nephew of a people is counted among them." Then he said, "The time of ignorance and hardship of the Quraysh is near, and through it I reconcile their hearts. Are you not pleased that people go away with wealth and property, and you take the Messenger of Allah to your homes? If people walk on one path and the Ansar on another, I will walk on the path of the Ansar."
