Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ لَا عَيْشَ إِلَّا عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ " قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَوْ قَالَ: " اللهُمَّ إِنَّ الْعَيْشَ عَيْشُ الْآخِرَهْ فَأَصْلِحِ الْأَنْصَارَ وَالْمُهَاجِرَهْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: The real good is the good of the Hereafter, or he would say: O Allah! There is no good except the good of the Hereafter, so reform the Ansar and the Muhajireen.
