حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنْ نُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ، غَنِيٍّ وَلَا فَقِيرٍ، إِلَّا يَوَدُّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ أُوتِيَ (٣) فِي الدُّنْيَا قُوتًا " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the Day of Resurrection, every poor and wealthy person will wish that he had been given only as much in the world as was sufficient for his needs.
