Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي أَوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا، فَاقْبَلُوا مِنْ مُحْسِنِهِمْ، وَاعْفُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ، فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَدَّوْا الَّذِي عَلَيْهِمْ، وَبَقِيَ الَّذِي لَهُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Ansar are my protection, with whom I have found shelter. Therefore, accept the good deeds of the Ansar and overlook and forgive their wrongdoers, for they have fulfilled their duty and their right remains."
