Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي نَصْرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَنَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ بِبَقْلَةٍ كُنْتُ أَجْتَنِيهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) gave me a kunyah after the name of the vegetable which I used to pick.
