حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ أَيَّامَ الشِّتَاءِ، وَمَا نَدْرِي لَمَا ذَهَبَ مِنَ النَّهَارِ أَكْثَرُ، أَوْ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهُ " (٢)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) led the prayer during the cold days, we could not tell whether most of the day had passed or was still remaining.
