Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، عَنِ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، (٢) عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ جَمِيعًا، وَالتَّمْرُ (٣) وَالْبُسْرُ جَمِيعًا " (٤)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade mixing dates and raisins, or unripe and ripe dates together (to make nabidh).
