English translation

Mukhtar bin Qalfal, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once I asked Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, what is the ruling about drinking from vessels? He replied that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade (drinking from) "muzaffat." I asked, what is meant by "muzaffat"? He said, a vessel coated with pitch.
