Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أُعْطِيتُ الْكَوْثَرَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ نَهَرٌ يَجْرِي كَذَا عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ، حَافَّتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ، لَيْسَ مَشقُوقًا، (١) فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَى تُرْبَتِهِ، فَإِذَا مِسْكَةٌ ذَفِرَةٌ، وَإِذَا حَصَاهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I have been granted Al-Kawthar, it is a river that flows on the surface of the earth, on both its banks are tents of pearls which have not been broken. I touched its soil and found it to be pure musk, and its pebbles were pearls.
