Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) sent a silk robe to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). When Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met him, he said, "You have sent me a silk robe, even though regarding it you have said what you have said?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I did not send it to you to wear. I only sent it so that you may sell it or derive some other benefit from it."
