Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ (٢) بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade drinking water while standing.
