حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " هَذَا ابْنُ آدَمَ، وَهَاهُنَا، ، أَجَلُهُ، وَثَمَّ أَمَلُهُ " وَقَدَّمَ عَفَّانُ يَدَهُ (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) placed his fingers on the ground and said: "This is the son of Adam, this is his death, and these are his hopes."
