Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during the night, Usaid bin Hudair (may Allah be pleased with him) and another companion were sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) discussing some matter. Much of the night had passed and it was very dark. When they took leave of the Prophet (ﷺ) and set out, one of them had a staff in his hand. The staff of one of the men became illuminated, and they began to walk in its light. When they parted ways, the other man's staff also became illuminated, and each man walked to his home in the light of his own staff.
