حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، الْمَعْنَى قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قُلْتُ: كَمْ حَجَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " حَجَّةً وَاحِدَةً، وَاعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعَ مِرَارٍ. عُمْرَتَهُ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ مِنَ الْجِعِرَّانَةِ فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ، حَيْثُ قَسَمَ غَنِيمَةَ حُنَيْنٍ، وَعُمْرَتَهُ مَعَ حَجَّتِهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "How many times did the Prophet (ﷺ) perform Hajj?" He replied, "He performed Hajj once and performed Umrah four times: one Umrah during the time of Hudaybiyyah, the second Umrah in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah from Madinah, the third Umrah also in the month of Dhu al-Qa'dah from Ji'ranah when the Prophet (ﷺ) distributed the spoils of the Battle of Hunayn, and the fourth Umrah he performed along with Hajj."
