حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَمُدُّ صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the manner of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) recitation, so he replied that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to prolong his voice.
