Translation

English translation

Hamzah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him, "Shall I narrate to you a hadith from which Allah may benefit you?" And that is: Whenever the Prophet (ﷺ) halted at a place, he would not depart from there before performing the Zuhr prayer. Muhammad bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "O Abu Hamzah! Even if it was at midday?" He replied, "Yes! Even if it was at midday." Hamzah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once, by the bank of the Nile River, I met Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), and between me and him was Muhammad bin Amr. Then the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
