Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى السِّدْرَةِ، فَإِذَا نَبْقُهَا مِثْلُ الْجِرَارِ، وَإِذَا وَرَقُهَا مِثْلُ آذَانِ الْفِيَلَةِ، فَلَمَّا غَشِيَهَا، ، مِنْ أَمْرِ اللهِ مَا غَشِيَهَا، تَحَوَّلَتْ يَاقُوتًا، أَوْ زُمُرُّدًا أَوْ نَحْوَ ذَلِكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When I reached Sidrat al-Muntaha, I saw that its fruits were as large as water jars and its leaves were as big as elephant ears. When it was covered by that which covered it by Allah's command, it turned into ruby and emerald.
