حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: لَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَّابًا، وَلَا لَعَّانًا، وَلَا فَحَّاشًا، كَانَ يَقُولُ لِأَحَدِنَا عِنْدَ الْمُعَاتَبَةِ: " مَا لَهُ تَرِبَ جَبِينُهُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was not one who abused, cursed, or spoke indecently. Even at the time of reprimand, he would only say: "What is wrong with him, may his forehead be dusted."
