حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ، فَأُتِيَ بِإِنَاءٍ فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى يَدِهِ "، فَلَمَّا رَآهُ النَّاسُ أَفْطَرُوا (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the month of Ramadan, the Prophet (ﷺ) was on a journey. A vessel was brought before the Prophet (ﷺ), and he placed it on his hand. Seeing the Prophet (ﷺ), the people also broke their fast.
