حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَرَّ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا فُلَانَةُ، يُعْلِمُهُ أَنَّهَا زَوْجَتُهُ، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنَظُنُّ بِكَ (١) ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " إِنِّي خَشِيتُ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ، ، عَلَيْكَ الشَّيْطَانُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man passed by the Prophet (ﷺ) while one of his noble wives was with him. The Prophet (ﷺ) called her by name so that the man would understand that she was the Prophet’s wife. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! Do you think such a thing about me?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "I feared that Satan might enter your mind."
