حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ، ، أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْأُكْلَةَ، أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ، فَيَحْمَدَ اللهَ عَلَيْهَا " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty becomes pleased with His servant even on such a small thing that after eating a morsel of food or drinking water, he thanks Allah.
