حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ بَرِيرَةَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَيْهَا بِصَدَقَةٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once something of charity came to Bareerah (the maid of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her), so the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "This is charity for her and a gift for us."
