حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ، يَغْتَسِلَانِ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ، وَكَانَ يَغْتَسِلُ بِخَمْسِ مَكَاكِيَّ، وَيَتَوَضَّأُ بِمَكُّوكٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) and his honorable wife used to perform ghusl from the same vessel. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to perform ghusl with five makook of water and perform wudu with one makook of water.
