حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ (١) قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ الْمَسْجِدَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَالَ فَنَهَوْهُ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَعُوهُ " وَأَمَرَ أَنْ يُصَبَّ عَلَيْهِ أَوْ أُهَرِيقَ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءُ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the Prophetic era, a Bedouin came and urinated in the Prophet's Mosque. The people tried to stop him, but the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Leave him," and ordered that a bucket of water be poured over it.
