Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said on the day of Eid al-Adha: Whoever has offered the sacrifice before the prayer should offer the sacrifice again. Upon hearing this, a man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! This is a day in which people generally desire meat." Then he mentioned the case of one of his neighbors, and it seemed that the Prophet (ﷺ) affirmed him. Then he said, "I have a six-month-old lamb, which is more beloved to me than the meat of two goats." The Prophet (ﷺ) permitted him to sacrifice it. Now, I do not know whether this permission is for others as well or not. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) turned towards his two rams and slaughtered them. The people were standing in anticipation of "war booty," so they divided it among themselves.
