حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ (٣) ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَرْحَمَ بِالْعِيَالِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ مُسْتَرْضَعًا فِي عَوَالِي الْمَدِينَةِ، فَكَانَ، ، يَنْطَلِقُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَهُ، فَيَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيُدَّخَنُ، وَكَانَ ظِئْرُهُ قَيْنًا، فَيَأْخُذُهُ فَيُقَبِّلُهُ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو: فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ابْنِي، وَإِنَّهُ مَاتَ فِي الثَّدْيِ، وَإِنَّ لَهُ ظِئْرَيْنِ يُكْمِلَانِ رَضَاعَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have not found anyone more compassionate towards his family than the Prophet (ﷺ). Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) was a nursing child in the suburbs of Madinah. The Prophet (ﷺ) used to go to visit him, and we would also be with the Prophet (ﷺ). When the Prophet (ﷺ) would enter that house, it would be filled with smoke because the lady of the house's husband was a blacksmith. The Prophet (ﷺ) would hold him, kiss him, and after a while, return. When Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Ibrahim was my son, who died in childhood. Two wet nurses have been appointed for him who will complete his nursing period in Paradise."
