Translation

English translation

Ibn Jad'an, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once Thabit, may Allah have mercy on him, asked Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, "O Anas! Have you touched the blessed hand of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with your own hand?" He replied in the affirmative, so Thabit, may Allah have mercy on him, said, "Show me that hand so that I may kiss it."
