Original Arabic
قُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ: سَمِعْتُ عَاصِمًا قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ: " مَا وَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَ مَا وَجَدَ عَلَى السَّبْعِينَ الَّذِينَ أُصِيبُوا بِبِئْرِ مَعُونَةَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was not as grieved by any army as he was by the army of Bi’r Ma‘unah.
