حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ (٢) ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَكَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ بِ {الْحَمْدُ} (٣) [الفاتحة: ٢] "، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have performed prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) and the three caliphs; these noble persons would begin the recitation in prayer with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin."
