حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ فَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ نِطْعًا، فَيَقِيلُ عَلَيْهِ، فَتَأْخُذُ مِنْ عَرَقِهِ فَتَجْعَلُهُ فِي طِيبِهَا، وَتَبْسُطُ لَهُ الْخُمْرَةَ، فَيُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to visit Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her). She would spread a mat for him, and the Prophet (ﷺ) would rest on it for a while. She would collect the Prophet’s (ﷺ) sweat and mix it into her perfume, and she would spread a prayer mat for the Prophet (ﷺ), upon which he would perform prayer.
