حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ أَبُو خِدَاشٍ الْيُحْمَدِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيَّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: " مَا أَعْرِفُ شَيْئًا الْيَوْمَ مِمَّا كُنَّا عَلَيْهِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَالَ: قُلْنَا لَهُ: فَأَيْنَ الصَّلَاةُ؟ قَالَ: " أَوَلَمْ تَصْنَعُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ مَا قَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that whatever we used to do during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), today I do not see any of that. The people asked, "What about the prayer? (We do offer prayers.)" He replied, "You yourselves know what you do in prayer."
