حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُلَبِّي بِالْحَجِّ وَالْعُمْرَةِ جَمِيعًا، فَحَدَّثْتُ بِذَاكَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، فَقَالَ: لَبَّى بِالْحَجِّ وَحْدَهُ، فَلَقِيتُ أَنَسًا فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِقَوْلِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ: مَا، ، تَعُدُّونَا إِلَّا صِبْيَانًا سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَبَّيْكَ عُمْرَةً وَحَجًّا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Bakr bin Mazni (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I heard Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this hadith: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) recite the talbiyah for Hajj and Umrah together. So I narrated this hadith to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and he said that the Prophet (ﷺ) recited the talbiyah only for Hajj. When I met Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), I told him what Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) had said. He replied, "Do you people consider us children? I myself heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, 'Labbayk Umrah wa Hajjan.'"
