حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ: " شَغَلُونَا عَنْ صَلاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى آبَتِ الشَّمْسُ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا وَبُيُوتَهُمْ أَوْ بُطُونَهُمْ " شَكَّ شُعْبَةُ فِي الْبُيُوتِ وَالْبُطُونِ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said on the day of Al-Ahzab; `They distracted us from the middle prayer until the sunset. May Allah fill their graves with fire and their houses - or their stomachs - Shu`bah was not sure whether it was houses or stomachs.
