حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ أَبُو صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْوَضَّاحِ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، - فِي ذِي الْقَعْدَةِ سَنَةَ سَبْعِينَ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا - وَذَكَرَ هَذَا عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا تَصَدَّقَ بِتَمْرَةٍ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ، وَلَا يَقْبَلُ اللهُ إِلَّا الطَّيِّبَ، وَقَعَتْ فِي يَدِ اللهِ فَيُرَبِّيهَا لَهُ كَمَا يُرَبِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فَلُوَّهُ، أَوْ فَصِيلَهُ حَتَّى تَعُودَ فِي يَدِهِ مِثْلَ الْجَبَلِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a servant gives charity from lawful wealth, Allah accepts it and takes it with His right hand, and just as one of you raises and nurtures his young goat, in the same way Allah nurtures it. And when a person gives a morsel in charity, in the hand of Allah it keeps increasing until that morsel becomes as large as a mountain.
