حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَنَا سَيِّدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ، وَأَوَّلُ مَنْ تَنْشَقُّ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ، وَأَوَّلُ شَافِعٍ، وَأَوَّلُ مُشَفَّعٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the Day of Resurrection, I will be the leader of all the children of Adam. The earth will split open for me first (my grave will be opened first). I will be the first to intercede and my intercession will be accepted first.
