حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْأَصَمِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " تَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ، وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ " قُلْنَا: وَمَا الْهَرْجُ؟ قَالَ: " الْقَتْلُ الْقَتْلُ (٤) " قَالَ: " وَيُقْبَضُ، ، الْعِلْمُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Near the Day of Judgment, there will be widespread tribulations, "harj" will increase, and knowledge will be taken away. We asked about the meaning of "harj," so he said: Killing, killing.
