حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: أَنْبَأَنِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ هِلَالَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، - رَجُلٌ - مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ (٢) ، يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبَّةَ السَّوْدَاءَ - يَعْنِي الشُّونِيزَ - شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَيْسَ السَّامَ "، ، قَالَ قَتَادَةُ: وَالسَّامُ: الْمَوْتُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: In this black seed there is a cure for every disease except death.
