حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: وَأَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ، يَغَارُ، وَإِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَغَارُ، وَغَيْرَةُ اللهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: A believer is possessive (protective), and Allah is even more possessive. And a part of Allah's possessiveness is that a person should avoid those things which Allah has forbidden for him.
