حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ حُذَافَةَ يَطُوفُ فِي مِنًى: " أَنْ لَا تَصُومُوا هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامَ، فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ وَذِكْرِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) sent Abdullah bin Huzafah (may Allah be pleased with him) to go around Mina and announce that do not fast on these days; the days of Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah.
