حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ يَعْنِي الْفِرْيَابِيَّ، بِمَكَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " حَذْفُ السَّلَامِ سُنَّةٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: To keep the greeting (salam) brief is Sunnah.
