حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا بَابُ بْنُ، ، عُمَيْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تُتْبَعُ الْجِنَازَةُ بِصَوْتٍ وَلَا نَارٍ، وَلَا يُمْشَى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Fire and sounds (musical instruments) should not be taken along with the funeral, nor should anyone walk ahead of it.
